| Instruction on how to replace the air filter.
Getting the front half or the filter housing to unlock from the forward filter housing was fairly easy. But getting the filter out from between the two ends was almost impossible. Given enough time you can get it out. My solution was to disconnect the MAF and filter minder connectors, loosen the clamp around the turbo inlet and remove all the ducting aft of the filter housing. Doing this also gives you a good opportunity to inspect the wire bundles and tubing that are behind the filter element and aft ducting. Check for chaffing wire bundles around the valve covers. |
