Drained 4qts and 22oz (-150oz) .
Refilled with 5qts and 4oz friction modifer (+132oz) .

7-29-07 Pulled Check plug, About 28 oz. drained out (-28oz).
Added: 4ozs friction modifer and 1 qt oil, level is low end of dip stick (+36oz).

(1qt = 32oz.)
Added 36 more oz (+36) now level is 3/4 above low mark.
Capacity approx 5qts 16 ozs (176 oz)

New Temp Sensor installed. Vent tube removed!

Temp Sensor installed in-place of vent tube. Now back on stock vent tube.

Feb 11th, 2005. Mag-Hytec #F12-10.25 Diff cover installed. 6 qts. Red Line 75W-140 and 8oz. Limited Slip (also Red Line) additive added. Installation Instructions.
Old diff cover in place.

Feb 3rd, 2005. Pinion seal replaced by Frontier Ford.

Oil plug after 31,470 miles.

Jan. 19, 2005 31,470.5 Signs of oil leaking around pinion seal, again. Cleaned off front of rear diff and drove to Gilroy and back (about 89 miles). A small trickle was on the bottom of the diff, behind the pinion seal, about an inch long and 1/8-inch wide. Pulled the plug and got a slight trickle out of the filler hole. Elevated the left rear until trickle stops out of filler hole. Add 35cc of rear diff fluid.
Oct. 05, 2003 Fixed: Oct. 10, 200310,968 miles by Frontier Ford. Pinion seal and input flange replaced.

May 10, 2003 Fixed by Frontier Ford. Pinion seal replaced.
